ABOUT THE ARTIST

Mandy Flood is intrigued by the transient beauty of impermanence and the deterioration of everyday surfaces. She explores this beauty through a process of enamelling. Flood takes the element of unpredictability and works with it to produce surfaces that question the value of worth. Flood is a graduate of Unitec's Contemporary Craft degree and now works out of Whau Studios, Auckland.
