ABOUT THE ARTIST

Dorothy is co-founder and a resident jeweller at Whau Studios in Pt. Chevalier, Auckland. The ability of jewellery to act as trigger points for personal memories is inherently important in my work. It is through these individual associations that objects gain subjective meaning based on thememories that we have, making the object more interesting, more relevant or imbued with special meanings for us.
