ABOUT THE ARTIST

Kiri’s work is largely inspired by the botanical world; by small plant details such as leaves, buds and pods. Just as in natural environments, bone, rock, and shell are gradually worn back to elemental forms, Kiri refines structure back to its simplest form, drawing out the essential quality within a shape.

As a practitioner of native flower essences, spirituality also plays a part in Kiri’s practice. Kiri works with the spiritual resonance inherent within natural materials.
