Emilia is from Buenos Aires - Argentina based in Auckland.

Emilia also currently works at Dance and Art Therapy NZ leading as a Dance Therapist for children, youth and adults at Dance4Us programme at Mt Roskill Community Centre and Wairau Valley Special School and satellites.

 Emilia received her diploma in Dance Movement Therapist in BRECHA -Buenos Aires, Argentina and her Diploma in Expressive Art Therapy in TAE - Lima - Peru.

 Emilia’s background as a Professional Dancer has worked in a Contemporary Dance Company in Buenos Aires for 14 years

She currently works as a performer in Touch Compass Dance co and as a support tutor for inclusive dance community classes at Grey Lynn Community Centre.

She currently leads as an artistic director and performer in ‘On Display’ - a human sculpture court explore and demonstrate inclusion and diversity through art presented in different Art Galleries and schools in Auckland – Sculpture on Shore and recently at Lake House Arts 

She also collaborates in a research dance project with choreographer Carol Brown. ‘LungSong’ dance film was presented at Festival of Colour in Wanaka and performed at Lopdell House Rooftop, Titirangi, Auckland - April 2019

 She received the Clarín Award for Best Dancer of the year in Argentina - 2001 and Best Female Dancer in Tempo Dance Festival in Auckland - 2006

 She studied Photography in UNITEC. Currently she practices as a training Contact Improvisation, Yoga and Visual Art classes
