Selection of work from TAPAC exhibition

Mapura Studios was invited to exhibit as part of the Journeys Performance at TAPAC. Journeys was a true-life theatre show developed by the Dramatherapy Group at Iris, directed by Paula Crimmens of Interacting Theatre. Works from the Iris Art Therapy service were also on display, coordinated by Marion Gordon-Flower in conjunction with a local artist. It was great to be part of such a collaborative event, and the second time Mapura has put on an exhibition with Iris (then called Focus 2000). This collaboration was intended to showcase the work of Spark artists who are also with Iris – CJ Romero, Lizzie Collenette, Libby Sargeant, Shannon Frahm, Noeline Bosley, Rodney Arts, John Penman, Lynette Loye, Yung Chen, Marie Henderson, Brendon Grace, Allyson Hamblett and Debra Lake. People responded enthusiastically to the show and 7 works were sold over the weekend.
