Wendy Lawson
Art Therapist/Facilitator and Student Liaison

Wendy is a practising artist with an exuberant approach to all things creative. She graduated with a BFA from Ilam School of Fine Arts in 1994 and has worked locally and abroad as an arts tutor / facilitator. She also has experience as a care and support worker with people of all ages and diversity and is currently fulfilling the final clinical requirements of a Master of Arts in Arts Therapy.

Wendy is a committed mum and is passionate about working with people to realise their potential through self-expression and creativity. She respects and enjoys many creative disciplines including dance/movement, drama, the visual arts, music and writing and relishes the creative vibe in the studio. 

Wendy is also student liaison and welcomes feedback and input from the Māpura community.
