The Māpura Studios art tutors and facilitators offer a range of diverse skills and abilities; they are a multi-disciplinary team. Collectively they are tertiary qualified and experienced in art education, fine and visual arts, graphics, art therapy, psychology and psychotherapy. They have in common a passionate interest in creative activities; most are practising artists who regularly exhibit their work. Their commitment is to equip and enable their students or group participants to learn, grow and become articulate and proficient in their art making and creative expression - and to become more knowledgeable and aware of themselves as 'creative artists in life'.
