Farewell Diana
After more than 15 years, Diana McPherson has retired from her position as Director of Māpura Studios and yesterday was her last day.
Diana: “It has been quite a journey and I have been proud to lead the wonderful team at Mᾱpura where we have achieved so much for so many incredible people. We have grown from an organisation with less than 60 artists when I joined to over 400 today and along the way we have had some inspirational moments and built an organisation with a strong kaupapa of inclusivity, acceptance and joy.
“…I’ve appreciated the connection and collaboration I’ve shared with so many amazing people over this time.”
Diana will be greatly missed by the artists and staff at Māpura, as well as her many connections in the community. We wish her all the very best for her next adventure.
Natalie Macauley will be her successor.
